Michèle Fella (she/her), born in Lucerne in 1997, lives in Bern.
As a vocalist, lyricist and performance artist, her work involves song structures, instant composition and live electronics. Emotional, feminist and relevant themes influence her artistic practice, whether in song lyrics, band structures or her musical presence.
She is involved in the creative processes of all her projects, whether musical, conceptual or organisational. Her band projects range from feminist punk, indie and noise with Deluxe Lynx, to singer-songwriter work moving between silence and soundscapes with Intimate Manifesto, to experimental pop-rock with AS IN PLASTIC. Alongside her work with bands, she creates duo formats focusing on improvisation and interdisciplinarity. These include HUGS FOR FREE (voice and bass) and the artistic research project reziprok (voice and body). In her solo project, Michèle Fella blends voice, piano, field recordings and electronic effects to craft multifaceted dark pop.

She drew significant artistic inspiration from Efrat Alony, Andreas Schaerer, Biliana Vouchkova, Colin Vallon, Patrice Moret and Jim Black, to name a few. She also took courses in the Theatre and Contemporary Performance Art programmes at HKB, which led to her first collaborations, including composing and performing the music for the theater play Santa Vulva. In 2025, she concluded an Erasmus semester at NTNU in Trondheim (Norway), where she further developed her solo project, receiving mentorship from Tone Åse. During this time, she also established international collaborations, including one with pianist Sondre Moshagen.
